“The best-laid plans of mice and men often go awry” adapted from a line written by Robert Burns in “To a Mouse,” a poem that you can find here. In some ways it reflects what is happening behind the scenes here at SylviaLive.
Recently I wrote in a blog promising that new content will be released soon, however I have decided to delay publishing new video podcasts for a few weeks. The delay is due to giving some time to those who have health issues, both within my family, and some work colleagues. You may say, ‘well, if you plan to have a successful podcast, why don’t you get help or replace those that cannot fulfil their duties?’ My answer? I value those I care about deeply more than anything.
Of course the business of running a podcast has to be consistent, but I work with the notion of conscious cooperation and I allow for the ebb and flow of life to take its course. Simply put, I have learned that life is too short. If capitalism at its heart was more consciously cooperative, we would have a very different world and people everywhere would value each other higher rather than just fulfilling tasks mechanically and grabbing the pay check at the end of the month.

So what can you expect over the next couple of months?
Be assured that video content will be coming your way. It may take a bit longer to produce, but the discoveries you will have the opportunity of viewing and learning from, I hope will be very valuable. Between now and then, SylviaLive will produce weekly blog posts some of which will be profiling those that will be featured in upcoming episodes. I also will continue to write at length my weekly musings which I hope will give you a more in depth idea of why SylviaLive plans to be around a long time.
Now the summer is here, I have promised myself and some of my loved ones that I will take breaks to see the countryside of Ireland. I adore the South West of our country and would recommend any visitor to do a slow tour of the South West region in particular.

Most of you who have read these writings, are from the US and if you are interested in exploring Ireland and Europe at large, check out Condor.com. They have some excellent offers for those of you in the US or Canada here.
Summer is a time for a deep breath and if you can, take some time out to give yourself a chance for a well deserved recharge!
